Tilt or Tap: Steering in Mobile Racers
Every time we review a racing game, the comments split between people who swear by tilt controls and people who hate them. The truth is most modern racers let you choose, and that choice changes everything. We tested Neon Drift Circuit both ways. Tilt steering feels immersive but punishing on bumpy transit rides. Touch steering is steadier and, honestly, let us pull off cleaner drifts once we adjusted. My rule now is simple: try the game with touch steering first, learn the tracks, then switch to tilt only if you want a bigger challenge. Learning the track layout matters far more than which control you pick. If a racer forces one control scheme with no options, that's worth docking points for. Comfort on a phone is part of whether the game is actually fun.
